The Try This Conference is full of opportunities to connect with old friends and meet new ones, find resources in your community, and talk with folks doing work they're passionate about to make WV a healthier place. Bring business cards to share with everyone you meet!
Brainstorming and Learning
There will be dozens of breakout sessions to choose from where West Virginians share their work, ideas, and passions with you. You'll also have a chance to spread the word about your work and inspire others.
Activities and Healthy Food
There will be physical activities on the green Friday and Saturday for you to enjoy. Meals will also be cooked with health in mind - you might just try a new activity or food for the first time at the Try This Conference!
FUN
We challenge you to have FUN this weekend! With an endless amount to learn and try, we know you'll find something that makes you smile. You'll be invited to talk with strangers, get moving, and share ideas. We know there will be something that excites you!

Attendance & Lodging Prices before June 1:
Base cost for both days: $100
Base cost for one day: $60
Cost for 1 night in a double room: $135
Cost for 1 night in a single room: $145
Cost for 2 nights in a double room: $170
Cost for 2 nights in a single room: $190

Scholarship information:
You may request a partial or full scholarship to attend the Conference. If you would like to request a scholarship, please click here to fill out our application.
Dorm Lodging
Lodging Details:
Lodging is based on a double room or single room in dorm housing on campus at WV Wesleyan College. If you choose a double room and do not indicate a roommate on your registration form, a roommate will be assigned to you.

And please don't forget to bring your own bedding - these dorms do not provide any supplies, so sheets, blankets and pillows will be your responsibility, as well as bath towels and shower essentials. All beds are size Twin XL (81" x 39"). Please plan accordingly.

COVID
All Try This staff and our volunteer Conference Team members will be wearing masks indoors throughout the Conference. Try This would like to encourage all attendees to wear masks and operate under their own comfort levels. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available to attendees throughout the Conference.
